GNR Horizon: Benchtop TXRF Spectrometer for Ultra-Trace Multi-Element Analysis

The Horizon is a state-of-the-art benchtop Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence (TXRF) spectrometer — delivering simultaneous multi-element analysis at ultra-trace concentrations, down to the ppb range, for liquid and suspension samples.

TXRF minimizes or eliminates matrix effects while enabling simultaneous multi-element detection from sodium to plutonium. The Horizon combines the latest technical components with accuracy, precision, safety, and ease of use — making it a powerful and cost-effective tool for trace analysis.

The acquisition software (Windows 7 compatible) includes batch programming, control of multiple detector types, and a Least Squares Marquardt fit procedure for spectral analysis. Quantification uses an internal standard with theoretical and experimental sensitivity curves.
