The LP 200 Automatic Grinder is GNR’s fully automated solution for metallographic sample preparation — combining programmable cycle control with automatic loading and unloading, so operators can work hands-free without contact with the working area.
The LP 200 allows operators to program the entire preparation cycle based on material type — selecting belt speed, number of cleaning passes, and pressure on the specimen. A manual cycle mode handles occasional samples with irregular shapes unsuitable for automatic mode.
Most common materials supported include Fe, Al, Cu, Co, and others. Sample preparation quality is critical to accurate spectrometric results, and the LP 200 ensures homogeneous, representative specimens with a flat, grinded surface — minimizing factors that affect trace element results.
