GNR TX 2000: Advanced TXRF/EDXRF System with ppb Detection Limits

The TX 2000 is an advanced dual-mode spectrometer combining TXRF and EDXRF in a single instrument — with instrumental detection limits below 10 pg for more than 50 elements, from sodium to plutonium.

Equipped with an automatic primary beam switching system (MoKa, WLa/Lb, and bremsstrahlung 33 keV), a Silicon Drift Detector, and a high-power X-Ray tube, the TX 2000 is optimized for environmental, chemical, and nuclear applications. Stepper motors with optical encoders ensure extremely precise angular values.

The Peltier-cooled SDD delivers 124 eV FWHM@MnKa energy resolution. A helium device improves detection limits for light elements, and a minimal detector-to-sample distance maximizes sensitivity.
