Hitachi’s X-MET8000 handheld X-ray fluorescence (HHXRF) analyzers provides rapid and accurate chemistry of a wide array of materials such as solid and powder metals, polymers, wood, solutions, soil, ores, minerals etc.
Verichek’s ISO certified calibration and periodic maintenance will help protect your investment and ensure that your equipment is not leading to any downtime!
Protect Your Investment! The X-MET8000 is practical, rugged and easy to use to deliver results you can trust.
The light and ergonomic design of the X-MET8000 ensures it is comfortable to use on a daily basis. The nose is designed to test material inside bends and corners.
Using Hitachi’s HEROTM window, which is heat resistant, the X-MET8000 can accurately analyze alloys up to 400° C.
The X-MET8000 offers the best of both worlds with versatile fundamental parameters (FP) method and empirical calibration (traceable to certified reference materials) for superior precision and accuracy.
It’s great for the analysis of light element (Mg to S) for tight control of components and systems. Low limits of detection deliver accurate trace/tramp elements analysis and grade identification.
The intuitive, icon-driven user display means that minimal operator training is required. The large screen is easy to read and can be operated whilst wearing gloves. No tool is needed to change the quick-swap analysis window when broken or dirty.
X-MET8000 is IP54 compliant (equivalent to NEMA 3) for super protection against dust and water. It has been tested to the MIL-STD-810G military standard for ruggedness.
An optional small-spot collimator (3 mm diameter) can be used to isolate specific features (e. g. welds) from surrounding materials and measure them accurately.
The impact-resistant housing of the X-Met8000 with environmental sealing and bumper corners around the screen, nose and battery ensures it will last out in the field by protecting it against shocks. Even in the hottest environments, the large heat sink provides optimum durability and stability.
The X-MET8000 includes a huge and comprehensive pre-installed grade library including AISI, DIN, JIS and GB libraries that include a total of over 1600 alloys. You can modify the existing librarie and add new grades, or create their own library.
The pre-loaded libraries include:
